Merry Christmas

Just wishing everyone a Merry Christmas on this fine Wednesday afternoon.  My family is planning to go to my dads this year, all of us kids are here and we are going to do Christmas like we did when were kids, with our kids and parents.  Were sleeping over, playing games, eating home made chicken noodle soup and just having a blast.  I am really excited for it.
I don't what your traditions are, but I hope you guys have a blast doing everything, and hope you get to spend time with loved ones.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Visit from published author Cortney Pearson

Last night at our local NaNoWriMo meeting, we had a special appearance from self published author Cortney Pearson who talked to us about her journey to becoming published.  Here are some notes from her class.

RNR- Redo and Resubmit, meaning they like what they have seen but they want certain things fixed.
Beta Readers- volunteers to read and review/edit if you ask them to on a certain subject like does everything connect, does the relationship fit?...
She went through an made pros and con lists for both traditional publishing and self publishing.
Traditional Publishing PROS:
Possible Advance
Printed books/ books on shelves
Editor invested in your story
Team of marketing and publicity experts
Have the repute  to be able to say I have representation from so and so…
Possible book tours/signings.
CONS:
Tons of waiting
Rejections
Split income with agents and publishers, publishers get the majority.
No say on cover
Agents have many clients and you get pushed aside
Despite marketing team, you still have to do your own marketing
Slow release schedule
If your book doesn’t do well, they can pull it from the shelf
More waiting
No guarantee that everything I write will get out there

Self publishing PROS:
Total control
Minimal waiting
A choice in cover design
Books will never go out of print
I can publish what I want
Once investment is made back, all money goes to me
Control over marketing
Control over price
I can publish whenever I want
Huger potential for making money-more lucrative
Time management
No more querying
Join the throng of published writers sooner and display books on my blog
Move forward with my writing career instead of doing the same thing I’ve been doing for years
Possibility of getting noticed by an agent should my books do well
CONS:
No books on store shelves
Pay to have editor/cover/marketing
No audio or foreign rights
No NYT bestseller list
No Agent-but I could
Venturing into the scary unknown
Time management

So all in all, there are more positives to self publishing than traditional, depending on who you are.  These lists are different for everyone.
She also noted that when you do start, have back up books so that you can publish one, right after the next, between a couple months between each, because depending on which company you went through for self publishing, your book stays at the top of the lists, if you publish your books within a window of 60 or 90 days.
That goes the same with traditional publishing.  Whenever you do, they usually sign  you up for a 3 book contract anyways, which take a year each before they are officially published, and it will help keep the flow going.
The top best sellers right now are Romance, Paranormal, Thrillers and Mysteries.   So think of which genre your book fits in when you are publishing.  Her book Phobic is under horror, but she could have put it under thriller or paranormal.
One of the downsides that are worth it in the end, to self publishing, is you have to foot the costs for anything, like editing, cover photo if you don’t do it yourself and so on.
She had her cover done for her as well as editing, because no matter how good you yourself are at writing, you will always miss things, and it’s good to have a professional take a gander at it to make sure.
She published through CreateSpace, which for all those of you who have winner goodies from Nano, will be able to see a goodie code from them.  Take the opportunity to check them out.  Her books are a per demand publishing.  Meaning nothing is printed until it is bought.  So she doesn’t have to worry about any upfront costs just to get some inventory made for anyone who wants to buy her book.  She merely sits back and let’s CreateSpace worry about getting them printed.  Which is an ease for anyone.

Her main job is marketing, and continuing to write her awesome books, which she already has one underway to be published in March.  We are so excited for her.  And we really appreciate her coming out and telling her story to us.    It was very helpful, and definitely helped me make some decisions for my future books.  I hope everyone else who attending enjoyed it and got something out of it.

Newest Cover Idea

The Ideas of both the cover photo and title have been put into surveys and displayed on Facebook.  It's a really good idea to use in finding which of your ideas would catch the audience.  Here are the newest versions of them, after getting a couple reviews from the ideas before.  I think they are cool, but I don't know which one I like the best.  Kind of hard when there are that many options.

It's Title Time

Hey, I'm working on my Title and I would love to get your help.  If you could please choose your two favorite titles out of the selections and post your answers in the comments below this post.  Which of these titles would catch your attention and get you to possibly rent, or buy the book  because of this title.  Thanks for your help.

A. Echo of Royalty
B. Hierarchy of Blood: Echo
C. To Be A Royal
D. Becoming a Royal
E. Vampire Royalty

Fun days

So I went to the Salt Lake Comic Con last weekend.  It was a blast.  We were only able to go to the Saturday part because my husband had already taken off too much time for work for this week to go hunting.  But seeing how it was our first time going, we were ok only going to one of the days to use it as a trial run.  Make sure we even enjoyed going.  It was a lot of fun.  We saw Danny Glover from afar along with a couple other stars.  I also save David Farland, Brandon Mull and a few local authors.  It was great seeing them out there promoting there works and being there to talk to there fans.
Me and JD have decided to go back either next April or the next September.  There is also the Fantasy con in between we could go to.    We are into the dressing up and hanging with our fellow nerds type of people.  So everything was awesome to us.
I got some great photos of dressed up people and they were awesome.  I went as Bo from Lost Girl.  I even bought a little sword the size of a knife to add to the outfit.
It was a great trip.  Not only for the availability to see stars and meet fellow book writers, but also to just get some time away.  I'm one of those people who seriously need recharged sometimes.  Life gets overwhelming and it's nice to have some peace or shall I say, not the normal atmosphere.  No kids, no work, not house cleaning, no nothing. Just me, my husband and what ever we wanted to do.
There are some people out there that don't ever need that recharge.  They don't need to get away every now and again because they blend into there lives really well.  I blend into mine, kinda.
Sometimes people need to get away from the monotony.
So, if you have ever thought of going to a comic con of sorts, do it!  It is an experience you will not regret.  You get to meet many authors that are there putting out there work, and they do such a great job explaining there books being great hosts of there booths.  It'll be fun when it's my turn.

Another Day In The Neighborhood

So, I allowed myself to get involved in an argument on a facebook thread.  I shouldn't have let myself, but I do think I bowed out of the argument pretty well.  The thread was on a writers page.  There are tons of them on there that people can post questions, or advice and so forth to the writer community.  I tell ya, I felt like I was in High school all over again with the other people in the thread cheering on the rude person I was speaking with.  He was rude and had an attitude that he knew everything.  I don't not appreciate people like that.  When someone asks for help on a general forum, asking everyone and not one single person, that gives everyone the right to comment.  I posted my idea, and he responded rudely that it wasn't helpful at all and that the sentence the girl had asked for hadn't changed.  I got upset that he was rude.  Anyone who could read that could understand that it was rude.  If he wouldn't have said it the way he did, and asked it nicer there would have been no problem, I would have responded with my reasoning in kind.  But he was rude and I responded likewise.
The point I am trying to beat around the bush with is this, there will always be a writer whether published or not, that will be rude, think they know more, and say something.  It's ok, kind of.  Just think of it as this.  There will always be mean people in the world that think they know better.  But if you always keep in mind that you know you aren't perfect, you aren't the smartest person in the world, that will help you along.  There is more peace in humility than there is in bigotry.    I hope that if you have an experience like that, you will remember this.  You aren't alone, no its not high school anymore, but there are still some who like to think so.
Please have a good day, and keep your chin up.

Show, Don't Tell

Laurell K Hamilton, who is one of my favorite authors, mainly because I really like her books, recently blogged something I saw and thought, "Holy cow, she's right."  I should say something about that because its not said enough.

To newer authors, showing and not telling is something they can struggle with.  It's something learned over time.  You find better ways to write things.   Show, Don't Tell is when you need to explain more, not just detail of blond hair and sharp teeth.

Instead of saying "it hurt badly," explain what hurts, make sure you put in somewhere why it is hurting, and what does it feel like.
"My finger throbbed from the pin prick, still settled in the skin."  or "Blood flowed down my leg as the wave of stinging spasms pumped with every heart beat."  Now that one is a bit chunky, but it should help paint the picture.

Think of your work as art, literally.
Canvas-  Pages
Brush-    Pen, pencil, computer, typewriter...
Paint-     Imagination
Rinse Water- Editing or chapter breaks, depending on the way you write.

Now think of the picture you are trying to portray. Lets say you want to paint a picture of the good ole' outdoors with a mountain, trees, maybe some birds, a lake peeking behind some trees.  How would you start? What aspect do you want it to be?  What angle do you want the viewer to see? What colors would match the time of the sun in the sky?  Where should I put the trees?  Mountain?  Should there be clouds about the mountain?

There are tons of questions you could ask yourselves about it.  As a writer, when you are planning your book you'll make those decisions. First person? Third?  Which angle should they read from?  Where should they be placed?

When you decide where to put that mountain do you just draw a line, in the form of a triangle and decide, there is my mountain?  No, you have to give it detail.  You have to show the curves, colors, any rivers?  Are the trees changing to fall colors?  That is where the Show don't tell comes into play.

Just like that original line for a mountain, you have an original line for the sentence, "it was very painful."  Now expand.

This is similar to the normal detail through a book.  It is detail.  But where detail is setting the reader up to know that the MC has brown hair, blue eyes and a thick mustache, showing helps the readers know how things feel in aspects of what we normally don't write, like how things feel, taste, sound. Not everything should be shown.  You don't need to show every twig you step over to get from point A to B.  Its more the intense things that help to draw empathy from the reader, get them more involved.

If you write that the "he was very attractive." They are going to wonder what about that person draws you to them.  Instead you could explain having a hard time looking away from his naked upper body because of the curves on all the lustrous skin showing.  Tell people why and how things are hurting.  Why does it hurt.  Why is something beautiful. What draws you to someone.

I hope that's helpful.  I know there are many ways to explain it.  That is the way I look at it.  Its not the most accurate way, but it helps me show.

Good Ideas

When you are writing a book, it can be hard to be able to get everything down, or have a good solid idea to put down on paper.    I just wanted to give some ideas on things I have used, or heard of others using.  I find them pretty helpful.  I know I have capped on this before, but it's always healthy to know where to go or what to do to make it easier on yourselves.

If you know what type of writer you are, that definitely helps.

Are you the kind that gets an idea and just starts writing/typing?

Are you the type that when the idea hits you, you have write it down and make a game plan.

Or, are you the type that is somewhere in between.  You like to have an idea of what's to come, but you don't use too much structure.

I myself have two major ones that I use.  I bounce between the two:

2. http://www.theguardian.com/books/series/how-to-write-a-book-in-30-days  I use the worksheets from here.  I don't use all the worksheets, but a lot of them.  The character sheets are awesome and the settings.  Take a look at it and see if it could help you.

1. Have you ever heard of Save The Cat?  It is awesome.  It tells you what your book/movie script has to have in order for it to be appealing, watchable/readable.  Where things need to go, when you should introduce everyone and so on.  I have a writing friend who loves it, and turned me in it's direction.  The main point I use it for is the cards.  When you read it, there is a section about 2/3rds of the way through that tells you not chapters or scenes, but sections of a book.  What needs to go where.  Then you use index cards, or in his case, he uses sticky notes.  You have 40 of them, 10 in each act.  There are 4 act. Act 1 Act 2A Act 2B Act 3.  By this information you plan your book on little cards, that way if something needs to move, you just move the card, not redo the worksheets.

Once I have my worksheets written down, and put in order, I use my 40 cards and go through and write down the scenes on each card so I don't have to carry the huge stack of worksheets with me.
I just have a small wad of index cards, which I cut in half so they go further and are smaller.

I knows this month is NaNo Camp.  So for everyone that is doing Nano this July, hope you are having fun.  I am doing it as well.  Not a huge goal.  Just 10,000 words.  Not a lot because I am quite busy this month, but it will help me get some scenes down for this Novembers Nano.

I hope this was helpful.    If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

How to start another book in a series.

That is one thing I have been having a problem with lately.  I know I am not completely done with my current book, editing wise.  But Its camp Nano month during July and I am using the time to get a head start for my Nov Novel.  Last year I had already written 40,000 words before Nano, tacked on another 50,000 because of Nano and then wrote another 10,000 worth to finish the book entirely.  So this year I am thinking that if I can a head start, I can get it done sooner this year, or have to do less after November.

However, I am at a loss and would greatly appreciate ideas from anyone on how to start a second book to the series.  I already have an idea of how to start it, starting from an un answered question from the first book I purposefully left open to bring into the second book.
Here's the catch though.  As a writer you are supposed to portray a number of things on the first page or first couple of paragraphs of the book to set the stage and intrigue the interest of the reader.
Do I still have to do that with the second book in a series.  Or can it just portray the main characters and only one part of the plot of the book.  I believe it should still be within the first 5-10 pages or first chapter that any new characters be introduced.  But that's just it.  My new character is the new plot but I cant introduce him on the first page let alone the second.

So here is my question I direct at you to please comment with your answer.  If its the second book in a series, and you have or haven't read the first but you at least know it is not the first book, do you expect there to be everything laid out on the first page and a half?
Or, because of the fact that you know that it isn't the first book, you expect to find out things a little bit later because the characters were already laid out in the first book, so you just have to get to know the new characters and new plot structure.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for your help.

To Be or Not To BE

So my family reunion is coming up.  Nothing huge, just the most awesome family on the planet getting together for a full weekend.  Last year we started a tradition of helping the host family out by doing a little auction with donations from us family.  The proceeds go to the family reunion costs for that year.  Well I donated drawings of our family that I drew last year and I have been working on it for the last couple days because our reunion is at the end of July.

Point I am getting at, is that the thought has crossed my mind, as it has I am sure, so many others. "Why bother even going back to working on my book?  Why bother, I have more time to work on other things I love, like drawing."  NO!!

You can not think like that.  If you don't get it done, edit and send it out to anyone to get the process started, who will read it?  Who will know of your awesome idea?  NO ONE!    Snap out of it.  It is ok to take a hiatus every now and again.  It's healthy  to do something different work on a different, no-writing project every now and again.  But to completely stop is murder.  You heard me, MURDER.  You can't just let the story end.

If everyone who used that excuse, we wouldn't have a wheel, light bulb, computers, or anything useful, because it took time, energy and concentration.  It took the sacrifice of that which we love.   Think of your future book lovers.  Now think of the fact that they aren't there until you get your book out there.

So that's my schpeel.  Take it as you will.

Survey

So I have a survey that I posted on facebook for everyone that I know to take.  I am asking for the publics opinion on cover ideas.  I already have idea pictures and I want to know what will catch the audience, without having a name yet.  If you are willing to take the survey, I would appreciate it.  Here is a link to the event.  https://www.facebook.com/events/393971154074568/

You go to each picture which has two pictures on it that are labeled a letter.  There are a few that are in there more than once up against different pictures.   Just comment below with the appropriate letter of your choice.

Also in a couple of days when I have gotten enough feedback, I will go through and pick the covers that were chosen the most and post them again, against each other and then you can vote for the best out of those.  It's a trial and error survey so bare with me on it.  I appreciate your help.

PS  I will also being doing another one soon for Titles.  I'm squaring that up and once I get it done I will post another facebook even or something to that effect that you can vote in.

This is just an example of the photos.

Almost Done!

I was editing over the weekend and I came to a conclusion:  I am almost done!  What an awesome feeling that is when you can look at your work and think, hey I can send it to my beta readers in probably only one or two more months.  This is awesome.   Now granted,  someone may look at the fact that I put one or two months right there, but for me that's pretty good with being a mom, full time worker, and writer all at the same time.  Everyone knows, the more things you have going on in life, the less time you have to spend on each individual one.
I have my work separated into two piles.  One is my completed work, as in edited half of the book.  It's in my favorite color folder, blue.  That means I have gone through it, both with myself and my writers group has eyed it over and it's been edited.
The half that I am still currently editing is in my black folder, meaning I am still editing it, between me and my writers group.  My book right now is ruffly 255 pages and when I have 150 in the blue, and already made my written edits on another 50 in my black folder (just needing to fix the typed version), that means I only have around 50 pages left to edit.
I already have my beta readers on board (my entire dentist office), that means I can get it out soon.  My original goal at the beginning of the year was to get it sent out to the publishers by the end of the summer, and then about two months ago, after camp Nano, I changed it to sending it out to the beta readers by the end of the summer instead.  So far I feel that I am going to make my goal!

Outlining Your Book

It can always be a little tedious to outline a project you have, but its worth it if it helps you get your words out on the pages.  Some people don't need to outline.  They are better at free flowing everything, just letting things come to them.  Others really need outlines to keep them on the chosen path.  Some, like myself, are right in between.  We like having a general outline, but only so we have an idea of what needs to happen, but we let everything else come to us.

For those who like to outline if you have every heard of Save the Cat, its a really good screenwriting book that works just as well with writing books.  It explains how to outline.
There is also the How to write a book in the thirty days link from guardian.com
http://www.theguardian.com/books/series/how-to-write-a-book-in-30-days

Both are very useful and can be used anytime.  I didn't hear about Save the Cat until I was half way through my last book, and I was at a loss at where to go with it.  But then I read Save the Cat and was able to outline the rest of it and finish my book during Nano of 2013.

Which ever type of writer you are, find out what you need to have help you, and hit it hard to get your work out on those pages so you can take the next step: editing.

Repetative Words

All of us, well maybe not some of the professionals, have repetitive words we have a hard time staying away from and later have to go back through it and change them to similar words.  Take for example, I have the hardest time getting away from looked and walked and when I am talking about certain things in a subject, I tend to say that word way too often.  It's like, Hey we get, there is a mountain, you don't need to say it seven times.
The ML of the Idaho Falls Nano group just posted this cool way to help avoid the word very.  Very is another one of those words you want to try to stay away from if you can.  Obviously you might need it sometimes, but instead of say, "he was a very tall man." you could say something like, "The tall man turned to me," or "He was tall..." and maybe add some more description about being gangly, blond hair, or shape of his face or something.
This is not her work, she did not create it, but found it on Stumbleupon at http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/1xuHX5/:OzYZcQWB:DUgprGDj/writerswrite.co.za/45-ways-to-avoid-using-the-word-very/

I found it pretty helpful.  Just to give you an idea if you don't understand how it works, the black words are what people tend use very with.  Like "very afraid," or "very angry,"  You can say he was terrified, or furious to get rid of the very.  It's not something you have to use, but it's helpful.
For me when It comes to my repetitive words, I look up WordHippo.com and I type in what word I need to find another word for and it tells me every noun, verb and other type of word that can replace the word "look" or any word you type in.  I have written down all the ones I know I repeat way to often.  I made posters with the word on it and put them around the wall in my writing area.  That way I can just look at it real quick to get a word I need.

This weekend is Memorial weekend.  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.  Spend it with family if you can.  You never know how long they will be in your lives and you'll want to spend as much time with the as you can.    Happy Memorial Day!

Writers Group

Went to my writers group last night, had a blast.  I really enjoy going and helping each other critique our work. It makes a person feel good when you get comments that confirm what you wanted to portray to the ready.  I was able to edit 11 pages worth of my book in between work yesterday and the day before and I am happy to say there were only minor things that needed help like commas and apostrophe's.  Only a couple clarifications were needed.

I wanted to share a couple of things to avoid when writing.  Most editors out there hate these words.  There pretty simple words that everyone finds they use and have to readjust there work to conform to the laws of editing.

Begin,  Ex. "I began to see the mountain."  Better- "I saw the mountain."
Tried,   Ex.  "I tried to back away from him." Better- "I backed away from him."
Was, (This one can be spared here and there, but tends to be overdone.)  "I was playing with the         toys."  Better- "I played with the toys."
Exclaimed,  "She exclaimed."  Better- "She said"  (I know we all want to put more detail in our work, but the description of the setting, people, clothes, surroundings are the important things to have detail on.  Straight forward dialogue is better than over detailing it and making it cheesy.
Were, (Also like was, it is over done and very neutral) Ex. "We were going to the pond." Better- "Going to the pond, I saw the orange fall colors flow across the trees." or something like that.

There are more that editors don't always like, and you'll learn more about the different ones to stay away from.  These are just a few that can make a big impact on your work.  When I first learned about it, I could not believe how more active my work had become.

Hope you are having a great day, and I hope you have a great weekend.

I love Surprises!

I love surprises in ones own book.  I finished my novel last November and I have been editing ever since.  I have three children and I have a full time job, so editing is a slow task when i can find the time.  The other day I was looking ahead for some reason I can't remember, and i read the last couple pages of my book and WHAM!!, I found something in there that i forgot that I had put in there.  It took me by complete surprise.  I was like, "holy cow, I can't believe I did that.  Boy that is a great surprise."  It cracked me up.
It's good when you can put surprises in your work for the readers, and still get surprised yourself.

Good Writing Advice

Everyone is looking for more advice on how to write a book, or be a better current writer.  We all need that little push in the write direction, right?

I get email updates from David Farland's Kick in the Pants  He sends out emails a couple times a week with a different piece of advice.  He has written tons of books so he knows what he's taking about.  He also does classes that anyone can join on his website.  http://www.davidfarland.net/members/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fmembers%2fdefault.aspx

Another good place to get more information and advice is writters digest.  The only problem i have with them, is that you get a lot of emails from them and only half or less are actual writing advice and what not.  The rest are them trying to get you to buy tickets to seminars or there top favorited books.  If you are the kind of person who likes that, go for it.  I like the advice and the selling of emails.  You can find them on google search.

HabitRPG

A great site that helps people get into the habit of doing things, no matter what that habit is, can be very helpful.  Some of my Nano buddies told me about HabitRPG.  It is really cool, I have thoroughly enjoyed it.  I am only on level 8 and I have been a member of it for a month.  It is a great way to train you in habits.
Instead of just a list you try to complete and check off through out the day, you also play a game at the same time.  You probably have heard of the term RPG.  It means Role Play Game.  Where you can pick your character and name and what you are and so on.  In this site you are you and you go on quests and as you do your dailies, which you will mark off, and get in the habits of checking things off because you have done them, you go up in level and gain animals, and clothes and stuff.
The quests you go on aren't something where you have steer your person in certain directions.  They are like villains that you have to conquer by completing all of your daily's.  If you do all your dailies, you attach the villain with damage.  If you do not complete your dailies, he can fight back.
It's pretty simple and it's  a fun way to help keep you going.
I have enjoy a lot.  You can find me on there under the name: Destiny Hampton and here is the link for it.  https://habitrpg.com/static/front

Hey, I just learned about a couple good places to research editors and publishers, to make sure they are legit.  When you are out there looking for your agents and more you want to be careful not get scammed.
http://accrispin.blogspot.com/  and   http://pred-ed.com/peba.ht

It's not a lot, and I know there are more out there, but these are some of the newest I have heard of.

Friday, April 25, 2014

I wanted to share a site that I really enjoy.  It's something that I was introduced to from my local Nano group (National Novel Writing Month).  We started going through them as lessons, starting in the archives.  Brandon Sanderson, who is a published author and a professor who teaches creative writing classes.  He posts the videos of his class for the rest of the world to watch and learn from.   the site is called Write About Dragons.  www.writeaboutdragons.com.  It has a ton of information you could use.  He goes through the books on how to write them, and also explains the publishing aspect of things.  He is very knowledgeable and guides the students.  He is also a lot of fun.

GoodBye NewAgeofIdaho, hello WriterDestinyHampton

So lately I have been really involved in writing books. I love crafts of all sorts and this has  been a big deal for me.  I have always enjoyed writing but until last September, I never had a place to go as a writing outlet.  Well my friend came to me and told me of a writing group in our library.  I started to go and I have learned so much.  I have enjoyed being critiqued and it has been a blessing on my work.  It has changed drastically since last September.

I also go to participate last year in NaNo WriMo.  Its every November, we are able to write 50,000 words in a month.  It averages out to be around 1,600+ words a day or ruffly five pages.  It helps writers get there book out onto the pages and to not stop and edit everything.  I was able to accomplish this.  I had a blast doing it and I have joined the Nano Wrimo group in Idaho Falls.

There is a chance that I will be becoming the ML for the group soon because both of our ML's have retired.  They are still going to our groups, they just don't want to be in charge anymore.  They are handing the reins over to someone else.

So far, I have been the only interested in becoming the ML but I have two other women who have offered to Co-ML is with me.  I'm thinking we should Tri-ML. LOL.  That there will be even less things for everyone to keep track of.

I was able to finish my first book ever.  I have many others in the works, but I have only finished one.  I am hopeing, that if I can get the editing done on it by the end of the summer, I can send it to my beta readers and hopefully get it sent out to publishers, sometime this year.

Because of my recent found enjoyment, that I have been spending more time on, I am going to change the name of this blog and items that are on it.  I may still have a page that is centered on only crafts, but this blog will for the most part be centered about writing.

On the note of my crafts.  I have done quite a few things since last year, but I haven't posted it on here.  I figure I should post I on here before I change the blog and I will put them on a page for my crafts to be on.  Because when I still can, I draw, crochet, or something else.

So this is a goodbye to the NewAgeofIdahoArtsandCrafts blog.  I hope you will continue to follow me and hope to get posting about my writing adventures soon.
